Julia Haggerty

Julia Haggerty, PhD, is a faculty member in the Department of Earth Sciences at Montana State University, where she teaches resource geography and conducts research on the experiences of rural communities in negotiating economic and environmental transitions. Haggerty worked as a policy analyst with Headwaters Economics from 2007 to 2013 and as a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Otago from 2005 to 2007. She holds a PhD in History from the University of Colorado-Boulder and BA from Colorado College.
