Board of Directors
Headwaters Economics’ Board of Directors provides strategic direction and fiduciary oversight to the organization. To maintain the integrity of our data-driven, independent research, the Board of Directors (excepting executive staff) is not involved in programmatic decisions.
- Carmen McSpadden, Chair: Former Director of the Montana State University Leadership Institute and adjunct faculty in management for MSU’s College of Business.
- Bob Buzzas: Former Congressional aide and community and economic development professional.
- Cathy Costakis: Former Senior Consultant to the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services.
- Joe McCarty: Former President and Chief Executive Officer of FedEx corporations.
- Bill Stoddart: Entrepreneur and founder of 45North Partners, a values-based investment strategy firm.
