ALL - Oil and Gas Active Well Density

These data were provided by the U.S.G.S. National Oil and Gas Assessment and IHS Energy and show the number of active oil and gas wells per square kilometer. Each point in the original Canadian data represents one well. The original U.S. data points represent the number of active wells per square mile. A neighborhood of 10 square kilometers was considered when deriving this map.
